Create Your World

Genesis 1:1

In Genesis 1:1 we are told that God created the heavens and; the earth in the beginning; scripture says, "And God said"....he created by His Words spoken in faith.

That was and is His plan for mankind, that we create our worlds by the words of our mouths. If you are thinking that is a tad off, scripture bears witness to that fact; Deuteronomy 30:19 says, "....I have set before you life and death,... choose life that both you and your seed may live"; Proverbs 18:21 states that, "death and life are in the power of the tongue..., verse 20 says, A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth". Proverbs 12:14 says: "A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth.... If there is any doubt about what constitutes the fruit of the mouth let us turn to Hebrews 13:15 where we are told, :....Let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips...

So we have the privilege of creating good or evil, blessing or cursing by the words of our lips; the question is: What are you creating? When we sow the Word of God we are creating good, we are creating abundance by our words. We fail to fully understand that we are living the world that has been created for us by others, and also we assisted them to create worlds of negativity to control us, create boundaries and limitations for us. God has even provided protection for us from the negative hateful words of others; Isaiah 54:17 says: "No weapon formed against us shall prosper and every tongue rising against us we shall condemn"; Ephesians 6:16 tells us to take the shield of faith and quench the fiery darts of hell loosed against us. He hides the righteous in his pavilions from the strife of tongues.

How do we create with our words? The same way God created. Let us return to Genesis 1 in verses 3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24, and 26 we find the words: "And God said! He was definite, He spoke what He expected to happen and then went on about His business of continuing the creation process so one creation after another kept appearing. We have been redeemed from the curse, for it is written, "Cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree; that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles...And if you be Christ's then are you Abraham's seed and heirs to the promise...! We walk in the midst of fear and intimidation, we are afraid of being labeled different, so we go along with the flow of negativity that is immanent constantly and continually from the mouths of those around us. It is considered normal to speak doubt, defeatism, despair, doom, fear, lack, sickness and disease. But say, "I believe that Himself bore my infirmities and carried my griefs, and that by His stripes I am healed"; people will call you a fanatic, or one of those faith people! That is an honor, whose report will you believe? God's or the devil's. After the fall the faith of Adam became fear, his words became the words of his spiritual father who is called a liar. Why would we want to identify with a liar, especially when Jesus came to deliver us from the authority of the kingdom of darkness. Theologians have stated that satan was jealous of man, who was created in the God-class with the ability to create with his words. He wanted that power, why in Isaiah he states, "....I will be like the Most High God... As a created being he did not have the power to create, only to pervert that which had already been created, but by becoming the spiritual parent of mankind he could continue to use deception and delusion to pervert the tongue of humanity and create chaos calamity and death. James tells us that the tongue is a world of iniquity, a fire set ablaze by hell, and it sets on fire the course of nature. But thank God for His love, devotion and redemption of mankind. For with our redemption package we get God's nature that enables us once again to create good, not evil, to speak words that edify, not tear down.

Jesus demonstrated mastery over lack, nature, death and all the perversions of the kingdom of darkness then told His disciples, "All power in heaven and earth has been given to me...go in my Name!...The things that I do, shall you do also...

Yes church of the Living God we have the God-given ability to create our worlds in accordance with his plans and purposes for our lives. We can speak life instead of death, hope instead of hopelessness, faith instead of fear. Beginning today, tear down the shanty of death and construct a mansion of faith, courage, strength, divine health and Godly prosperity. We've got the Power!!!!!

Why are we not creating bastions of health, peace, freedom from fear? It takes time and dedication to develop the faith and trust in God and His Word to walk as overcomers in this life, it is much easier to just go with the flow, swim along as a school of little fish. Do you yearn for more when you read God's Word; are you thirsty for more of God's power, do you get angry when you see death and devastation all around you and you know Jesus died for us to have mastery over these situations not only in our own lives, but in the lives of others? That is the first step toward creating your God-ordained world of victory, success, peace, strength health, a sound mind, and Godly wisdom. It is available to all who are desirous of walking in the fullfilled promises of God
